As a deputy sheriff and detective, I had the privilege of working with Dotti Owens in a variety of professional settings.

Throughout those years, she consistently impressed me with her professionalism, integrity, and genuine compassion for families experiencing one of the most difficult days of their lives. 

After my retirement, I had the opportunity to work alongside Dotti and the Ada County Coroner's Office. Seeing her leadership from the inside only strengthened my respect for her. Her passion for public service and unwavering commitment to excellence were evident in everything she did.

Dotti's vision extended far beyond Ada County. She works tirelessly to elevate the professionalism of Coroner's offices throughout Idaho, creating a lasting legacy for our state. Under her leadership, the Ada County Coroner's Office achieves national accreditation - an accomplishment that reflects her dedication to the highest standards of medicolegal death investigation.

She also recognized the importance of investing in the future by partnering with institutions of higher education to establish internship opportunities, giving students invaluable hands-on experience as they prepared for careers in medicine and forensic science. In addition, Dotti was the driving force behind the effort to bring the Ada County Coroner's Office into the 21st century by initiating the plan and development of a modern facility designed to meet the county's growing needs.

Dotti Owens has demonstrated the leadership, vision, and compassion this office requires. I am proud to give her my wholehearted endorsement for Ada County Coroner and respectfully ask for your vote to return her to office so she can continue the important work she has begun.
